We have
immediate hiring needs for the following positions:
The Software Engineer is responsible for maintaining current
system control software for products including testing, integrating,
and supporting software control system & software user
interface (UI) for existing manipulation/robotics system products.
The Software Engineer is also responsible for customer support,
debugging and development of new manipulation/robotics system
products.
This person will work with a team of other Software Engineers
serving primarily in a hands-on technical role contributing
to revenue generation through aggressive product development
and customer support. Secondarily, this position will help
secure new business via application development with process
engineers & scientists.
Masters in Computer Science required.
• 2-3 years GUI experience
• 2-3 years experience debugging and maintaining large
code base
• Experience interfacing with hardware
• Customer support experience is a plus
• Product development and support experience in automation
and robotics system solutions is a plus
• Experience in motion control, control systems and
vision analysis experience is also a plus.Required Skills
• Advanced knowledge of C#, .NET and C++
• Advanced level GUI development
• Ability to quickly learn new technical concepts
• Ability to work within a project plan, adhering to
the plan’s goals and milestones
• Fluently speak, read and write English
• Good technical communication skills – both writing
and speaking
• Basic skill level using Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
• Exercise reasonable judgment (without supervision)
• Detail-oriented
• Organized
• Self-starter
• Team player

The Mechanical Engineer (ME) will
engineer, design, and build prototype systems for
Zyvex products (internally and via outsourced activities).
The ME will be responsible for manufacturing cost
reduction and coordinating certain assigned product
development efforts for Zyvex. Additionally, this
position is responsible for documenting all work.
This position will work closely with all levels
of designers, engineers, research scientists, vendors
and customers and reports directly to the Product
Development Manager.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering. Masters Degree in Mechanical
Engineering preferred
5 years of experience in mechanical
design of small precision electronic and mechanical
components
• Fluent in English
• Must have appropriate visual acuity and
hand/eye coordination to assemble, manipulate, and
test small, precision electronic and mechanical
components.
• Must be proficient with standard mechanical
and electronic assembly/testing equipment and apparatus,
including, but not limited to soldering irons, multimeters,
forceps, pliers, wire strippers, etc.
• Must have verbal and written communications
skills necessary to interact with development team
to develop and document designs and engineering
concepts.
• Must be able to read and understand engineering
drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Competency in Solidworks Fluency in English:
reading, writing and speaking
• Ability to quickly learn new technical concepts
• Must be able to function effectively in
a team environment, and motivate team members
