Zyvex’s e-series
products are designed using quality certified
raw nanomaterials and host materials from industry
leaders, such as Shell EPON™ epoxy resins,
which have become standards for a wide range of
industries.
Epon 826,
a low viscosity, liquid bis-phenol A-based epoxy
resin, can be crosslinked and formulated in adhesives
in a broad range of industries. We offer a variety
of nanomaterial loadings from 1% to 50% in all
resins in this family.
Epon 828,
a general purpose epoxy resin, can also be used
for a broad range of industries. A bis-phenol
A-derived liquid epoxy resin, Epon 828 is hardened
with appropriate curing agents, providing very
good mechanical, adhesive, dielectric, and chemical
resistance properties.
Epon 862,
a high performance alternative to blends of Epon
Resin 828, consists of a standard bis-phenol F.
This can be mixed with other bis-phenol A epoxies
such as 828.
Zyvex e-series provides
the following features and benefits:
• Provides a cost-effective
nanotechnology solution for enhancing many different
properties, including mechanical, electrical,
and thermal
• Makes it easy for formulators to incorporate
carbon nanotubes into their products
• Offered at loadings up to 50wt%
• Provides a choice of different raw nanomaterials:
SWNT, MWNT, CNF
• Creates superior
dispersion of carbon nanomaterials
• Easily
integrates into existing composite processing
• Enables large scale manufacturing
• Includes
solvent and solvent-free mixtures
Zyvex Nanosolve epoxy
concentrates are delivered at a range of concentrations
to provide customers with a product which is a cost-effective,
scalable solution to their application and processing
needs. The weight percent of nano-filler material
ranges from 1, 5, and 10 wt% for research feasibility.
We also provide scaled up products to 20 and 30
wt% for feasibility on pilot scale and 40 and 50
wt% for production and commercialization.
