Zyvex Processed Nanotubes remove
the “processing bottleneck” for carbon nanotubes
— enabling a wealth of new applications. Our patent-pending
technology disperses and suspends carbon nanotubes in common
solvents with unsurpassed concentration and dispersion.
The Zyvex functionalization process consists
of combining the solvent, nanotubes, and solvating agent
together. This disperses the tubes and creates a first generation,
functionalized nanotube solution. We then remove the solvent,
leaving a dry film.
Zyvex customers can now easily resolubilize the film
with their choice of a compatible solvent by simply sonicating
for 30 minutes to restore the solution.
